Graduate Admissions

GRE Preparation Course

Adults applying to graduate school programs across a wide range of fields.

This course is organized around the three sections that make up the GRE: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Each module works through core content and question types on your own schedule, with practice sets that build familiarity and mock exams that help you gauge overall readiness. Scheduled live webinars give you a chance to see problem-solving approaches explained in real time and to ask about topics you find difficult. The course is intended to support your own study plan, not to replace the official GRE preparation materials published by the test maker.

Course modules

Course content is organized into on-demand modules that you can work through in any order and at any pace. Each module combines short instructional content with worked examples, so you can review a topic as many times as you need before moving on.

1

Quantitative Reasoning Foundations

Arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data interpretation as they appear in GRE quantitative questions.

2

Quantitative Comparison and Data Analysis

Strategies for quantitative comparison items and questions built around charts, tables, and data sets.

3

Verbal Reasoning: Text Completion and Sentence Equivalence

Approaches for vocabulary-in-context questions that ask you to complete or match sentence meaning.

4

Verbal Reasoning: Reading Comprehension

Techniques for reading passages efficiently and answering questions about argument, structure, and inference.

5

Analytical Writing: Analyze an Issue

Planning and structuring a position-based essay response within a limited time.

6

Analytical Writing: Analyze an Argument

Identifying assumptions and structural weaknesses in a given argument and organizing a written critique.

7

Pacing and Section Strategy

Time management approaches for moving through each section without losing accuracy under time pressure.

Practice format

Practice sets are organized by module and question type, so you can target a specific skill area or work through a broader mixed set. Each practice item includes an explanation you can review after answering.

Mock exam format

Full-length mock exams are structured to reflect the general format and pacing of the GRE, covering all three sections in one timed sitting. Results are broken down by section so you can see where your time and accuracy stand relative to your own practice history.

Webinar format

Live webinars are hosted by a GRE Instructor on a recurring schedule and cover topics such as quantitative problem-solving strategies, verbal reasoning approaches, and essay planning. Sessions are interactive, and recordings are made available afterward for review.

Written questions

You can submit written questions about course content directly through the platform at any time. Responses are delivered through private platform messages, so there is no need to appear on camera or join a live session to get help.
